Peripheral Edging Wheels

 

Solar Glass

Inland manufactures wheels for solar glass production for all types of edgers including Bavelloni, Bottero, Glassline, Schiatti, and others. Inland's bond matrix provides the capability of running at high speeds while producing chip free glass.

 

Tempered Glass

Tempered glass wheels are manuufactured for all types of high speed double edgers such as Bavelloni, Besana, Bottero, Glassline and Schiatti. Our high performance bonding matrix enables the equipmentto run at extremely high speeds, produce chip free glass andprovide maximum wheel life.

 

Decorative Glass

Inland wheels are engineered for all types of decorative glass applications. Wheels are kept in stock for all makes of machinery and many different profiles. Profiles include pencil edge, flat with seams (arris), ogee, waterfall, and others. Thick glass wheels are also kept in stock. Inland's high performance wheels provide maximum stock removal with little deterioration to the profile thus providing a long life wheel.

 

Automotive Glass

Quality engineered wheels are available for grinding both windshields and side lites. Inlands premium bonding matrix provides extremely long life for high production runs.

 

Beveling Wheels

 

Inlands beveling wheels are engineered for fast stock removal with its metal bonded wheels and super fine finishes using resin bond wheels. Both metal and resin bond wheels are kept in stock for a wide variety of machinery for both straight line beveling applications and shape beveling.

 

Flat Edge Cup / Mitre Wheels

 

Inland offers a complete line of metal and resin cup wheels for flat polish / mitre machinery. Metal bond wheels are available in both segmented and continuous rim. Resin wheels in the finishing positions create an extremely high pre-polished finish. Our special Res-Met wheels used on the arris spindles eliminates the stone wheels and produces an exceptional high polish.

 

CNC Tooling

 

Inlands high performance CNC wheels are kept in stock for all types of CNC equipment including Intermac, Brembana, BOB, Thomas Forvet and others. Our CNC wheels are designed for high speed, aggressive stock removal and extremely long life. Additional tooling is kept in stock for CNC equipment such as coring drills, router bits, combination router bit and forming tools. Special tools can be engineered and manufactured to meet specific grinding criteria. Custom tools are welcomed.

 

Polishing Wheels

 

Both BK style rubber wheels and BD style clay style wheels are kept in stock for immediate shipment for peripheral edging machines and shape edgers. Felt polish wheels, 10S, 9R and cerium impregnated wheels are available for flat cup style polish / mitre machines and beveling machinery.

Available in a variety of sizes and grits.

 

Core Drills

 

Inland offers the finest core drills to fit standard Belgian mount drilling machines, such as Besana, Schiatti and others. They are also available for machines that require straight shank such as Glassline, and tripod drills. Our core drills produce minimal chipping, are free cutting and have exceptional long life. Drills are kept in stock for the most commonly used sizes from 1/4" (6mm) to 4" (102mm) and are available in the Belgian mount style in both 75mm and 95mm length. Matching adjustable depth seamer / countersinks are also available.

 

Coolant

 

Inlands unique dry coolant powder saves money in several ways. The powder which dissolves in the water tank is light weight, which saves on shipping cost and is easily moved in the shop as opposed to a 55 gallon drum of liquid coolant.The dry powder coolant also keeps the glass fines at the bottom of the tank extremely soft for an easy cleanout which reduces down time and lower maintenance costs.

One pound of dry coolant is equivalent to one gallon of concentrated liquid. Our patented product has built in rust inhibitors, anti-foam and anti-baterial features.

Available in one pound and ten pound bags as well as 40 pound (5 Gal) pails.

 

Special Hand Tools

 

Trim Tools

Inland manufactures several hand tools to make your job easier. The Wolverine Trim Tool is the perfect tool used to pre-shape and pre-groove both clay and rubber polish wheels. It is also useful to remove the "lips" on the sides of the wheel as the groove gets deeper into the wheel. Reduces long breakin periods.

 

Diamond Files

Diamond files are available in medium grit for small touch up work. The file is used to erase small cosmetic blemishes (shiners) or chips on the edge of the glass.

 

Re-Truing Service

 

Inland Diamond offers re-truing service on metal bond tooling. Re-truing restores peripheral pencil edge, flat with seams, and complex profile wheels back to their original shape so they perform like new. Retruing can also be done with metal bond and resin bonded cup wheels. Inland Diamond will re-true any manufactures tools back to their original profile. Turn around on retrue service is usually three working days. Faster service in emergency situations is available. Inland offers quick delivery of replacement wheels for wheels sent in for retrue that are deemed worn out.
