ARE YOU IN COMPLIANCE WITH GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS REGARDING IMPACT RESISTANCE TESTING AND RECORDING?

With increased policing by the Federal government and with OSHA now sharing in that policing it is essential that all optical shops understand the requirements for testing and recording impact resistant results. Inland now offers the equipment for that testing if it is needed at your facility.

Drop Ball Tester

Our new drop ball tester provides the tool required to properly check impact resistance on optical lenses.

Ball Delivery System

Inland Diamond offers a simple and effective method of deliverying the steel ball into the tube by simply placing the ball into the cup and raising it to the top of the delivery tube.

Clear View Containment Box

Once the ball has impacted the lens, the ball is recovered by raising the clear plastic door located on the lenses box.

Polariscope

Polariscope is an optical inspection device used to detect internal stresses in glass and plastic lenses. A polariscope is composed chiefly of a light source and two crossed polarized lenses. The polariscope light source is mounted beneath one lens, and is powered by an external power source. Lense to be examined is placed between the two polariscope lenses and viewed through the lens opposite the light source lens.
